Gentle Breeze - new upcoming Kona Bay fabric group

Gentle Breeze is one of the new and upcoming collections from Kona Bay and it is a beaut!!

We are putting on the final touches on these gorgeous fabrics and we will soon have two quilt patterns showcasing these fabrics in two colorways. Below is the red and black quilt project that will soon be on the Kona Bay website as a FREE pattern for your enjoyment!!

Kona Bay's Asian Fabric magazine released end OCT

Kona Bay Fabrics' latest issue of their Asian Fabric magazine will be released at the end of October and the cover features one of our newest fabric groups - Paradise Collection.

This beautiful fabric collection will be in quilt shops in December/January and it so pretty! This collection has a gorgeous master print with lovely coordinates but also there are twelve gold texture complimentary fabrics entitled Paradise Gold Dust.

You can get your copy of Asian Fabric magazine at your favorite quilt shop or it can easily be ordered online from Kona Bay.

Kona Bay's NEKO (Cat) Collection Coming in November

Did Miss Piggy da Kitty lend a big paw in designing the Neko Collection for Kona Bay? You might think so! Kittens in a black or indigo colorway on a cream background are the fiesty features of this playful fabric line. Scattered paw prints and paw prints in a sashiko design are the coordinates that round out the collection.

Kona Bay Fabrics will be releasing its new gorgeous Tranquility Fabric Collection next month and we are now making available a FREE pattern to go with this beautiful fabric group.

Elegant cranes and luscious florals accented in gold grace the much anticipated Tranquility Collection from Kona Bay.

And to whet your appetite for this gorgeous fabric line Kona Bay is pleased to provide you with a free quilt pattern, in three different color stories. This 47" x 69" quilt uses fussy cut pieces to create six kimonos. Tonal sashing and a large floral border complete the design.

Kona Bay Announces "Less is More" Fabric Series

Many times, I get asked by customers and quilters why there can't be fabric collections and quilt projects where you do not need a zillion different fabric designs to make it complete. (I think a zillion is a big number!)

Kona Bay Fabrics listens to our customers and fans and we act accordingly.

Kona Bay will soon be announcing the release of the "Garden Gazing Collection" in which you will ONLY need 6 different fabrics to make a beautiful quilt project.

The quilt pattern series and the Garden Gazing Collection is part of Kona Bay's "Less is More" fabric and quilt series and should prove to be quite popular.

We are putting on the finishing touches of this wonderful fabric collection and will have pictures and details very shortly.

Today I got the pleasure in seeing a preview of super quilter Cathy Kind's pattern she is making for Kona Bay's very popular Ginkgo Collection and it is a beaut!!!

There are 17 wonderful colors in this tonal fabric group and these fabrics will not only make a beautiful quilt by itself but they can easily be used in any of your current projects.

Today is 9/11

Been watching the memorial services on TV at the site of the 9/11 World Trade Center bombings and it is quite moving.

Doesn't feel like ten years at all.

Our heart and prayers go out to the victims of this event as well as our thanks to the brave men and women who gave so much to help those in need.

God Bless the USA!!!

Post Labor Day Begins the Quilt Shows!!

Hope everyone had a super Labor Day holiday!!

Right after Labor Day, the wholesale quilt shows for our industry begin in which Kona Bay gets to attend various wholesale shows to show our quilt shop and internet customers many of our new beautiful fabrics and collections.

This Friday and Saturday, there is a wholesale fabric show right in Kona Bay's Redmond, WA back yard.

The Northwest Fabric and Notions Show will be held September 9th and 10th in Renton, WA and Kona Bay's top notch Pacific Northwest sales team of Erin Pratt and Mike Louie will be there to show quilt shops and businesses our new gorgeous Kona Bay fabrics.

The fabric pictured above is our new Paradise Collection and this group features not only 17 wonderful different items but also we have 12 beautiful gold textured tonals called the Gold Dust Collection.

Both of these must have groups will be available in December/January and soon we will be having a FREE pattern on our website to go with these fabric collections.
