Kona Bay Announces "Less is More" Fabric Series

Many times, I get asked by customers and quilters why there can't be fabric collections and quilt projects where you do not need a zillion different fabric designs to make it complete. (I think a zillion is a big number!)

Kona Bay Fabrics listens to our customers and fans and we act accordingly.

Kona Bay will soon be announcing the release of the "Garden Gazing Collection" in which you will ONLY need 6 different fabrics to make a beautiful quilt project.

The quilt pattern series and the Garden Gazing Collection is part of Kona Bay's "Less is More" fabric and quilt series and should prove to be quite popular.

We are putting on the finishing touches of this wonderful fabric collection and will have pictures and details very shortly.

Ginkgo Tonals Collection will soon have a FREE pattern!!

Today I got the pleasure in seeing a preview of super quilter Cathy Kind's pattern she is making for Kona Bay's very popular Ginkgo Collection and it is a beaut!!!

There are 17 wonderful colors in this tonal fabric group and these fabrics will not only make a beautiful quilt by itself but they can easily be used in any of your current projects.

Ginkgo Tonals was just released to quilt shops and Kona Bay customers everywhere and you can find your closest Kona Bay customer by going to our web site and searching on "Find a Retailer".

When the FREE pattern is available, we will announce it on our blog as well as our Facebook fan page which we hope you have joined as well.

Today is 9/11

Been watching the memorial services on TV at the site of the 9/11 World Trade Center bombings and it is quite moving.

Doesn't feel like ten years at all.

Our heart and prayers go out to the victims of this event as well as our thanks to the brave men and women who gave so much to help those in need.

God Bless the USA!!!

Post Labor Day Begins the Quilt Shows!!

Hope everyone had a super Labor Day holiday!!

Right after Labor Day, the wholesale quilt shows for our industry begin in which Kona Bay gets to attend various wholesale shows to show our quilt shop and internet customers many of our new beautiful fabrics and collections.

This Friday and Saturday, there is a wholesale fabric show right in Kona Bay's Redmond, WA back yard.

The Northwest Fabric and Notions Show will be held September 9th and 10th in Renton, WA and Kona Bay's top notch Pacific Northwest sales team of Erin Pratt and Mike Louie will be there to show quilt shops and businesses our new gorgeous Kona Bay fabrics.

The fabric pictured above is our new Paradise Collection and this group features not only 17 wonderful different items but also we have 12 beautiful gold textured tonals called the Gold Dust Collection.

Both of these must have groups will be available in December/January and soon we will be having a FREE pattern on our website to go with these fabric collections.
